The newest versions of Symmetry CONNECT Identity Management and Symmetry GUEST Visitor Management include enhancements that are centered around improving the connection to the access control system. Enhancements in this release include:
The ability to define when an identity should be sent to the access control system. Options include:

Identity only – Once an identity has been created

Access only – Once an access group associated with the access control system is assigned

Credential only – Once a credential has been assigned to the identity

Credential and Access – Once both an access group associated with the access control system and a credential have been assigned to the identity
The ability to define badge templates in both GUEST and CONNECT and sync them with the access control system.
The ability to have credentials entered in the access control system synced with the identity record in CONNECT.
The ability to sync GUEST visitors and visitor records in the Symmetry access control system.
The ability to define a visitor escort for a GUEST visitor. This value will sync to the Symmetry access control system when syncing as a visitor’s record.
The ability to add notes to a CONNECT identity and sync the cardholder notes section of the Symmetry access control system.
The ability to see the sync status of a credential based on the access control system integration.

The ability to configure the system to allow for identities to have non-unique email addresses associated with their record
Improvements to the My Visit page in GUEST. These enhancements are designed to simplify the user experience for users with Host or Host Delegate role and include:

The ability to add Host Delegate directly from the My Visits page

The ability to add favorite visitors directly from the My Visit page

The ability to schedule a new visit directly from the My Visits page
