We are pleased to introduce two major enhancements to the Symmetry GUEST Visitor Management System: Advanced ID Scanning and Offender Watchlist Checking. These capabilities strengthen lobby security, streamline check-ins, and support stronger compliance.
Why These Enhancements Matter
Organizations face increasing expectations around safety, accuracy, and operational efficiency. Manual check-ins and visual ID checks can no longer meet modern security or regulatory needs. Our new features integrate automated identity verification and real-time risk screening directly into the visitor workflow, delivering a more secure and efficient front desk experience.
ID Scanning: Fast and Accurate Verification
The new ID Scanning feature supports government-issued documents such as driver’s licenses, state IDs, passports, and global travel IDs. With a quick scan, the system:
- Extracts and validates key identity fields
- Captures the ID photo
- Reduces manual entry and errors
- Accelerates check-ins by finding existing visitor records
- Performs a biometric facial match
This results in shorter waiting times and a smoother guest experience.
Offender Watchlist Checking: Real‑Time Screening
To support stronger security, the system now automatically checks visitors against offender databases from all 50 states. This helps organizations identify risks early and maintain safer environments for employees and guests.
A Seamless Workflow
Despite these advanced capabilities, the process remains simple:
- The receptionist scans the visitor’s ID
- Identity is verified
- A watchlist check runs automatically
- The visit is located and checked in
- A badge prints and the host is notified
