Organizational Updates and Process Enhancements

Dear AMAG Certified Resellers,

I’m writing to our entire reseller community today to inform you of a few significant updates that have occurred over the last few months. Hopefully you have already been made aware of this information through your regional AMAG representative, but if by chance it was missed, I want to make sure I inform you all directly.

First and foremost, we’ve recently hired two new leaders to our Commercial Senior Leadership Team. Tony Dozier has joined the company to lead our regional sales efforts for the Americas and James Clark has recently joined to lead our sales efforts in EMEA and APAC. Both gentlemen come with a wealth of leadership experience in the integration space, and we are excited to bring their “channel-first” mindset to all of you.

Secondly, one of the most important processes that we introduced this year was the launch of our 12-month rolling road map. This is a process where we outline new features that will be released in the next 12 months for our entire solution suite (Access Control, Identity Management, Visitor Management, Video Surveillance, Command and Control). It is our intention to revisit this with you every quarter so that you have the most up-to-date and accurate information about our Symmetry ecosystem.

Many of you have already had a roadmap introductory discussion with your commercial representative, however over the next 12 months we will be introducing a significant number of enhancements to our existing portfolio. Therefore, to make sure no one gets left behind I’m asking the following. If we have yet to schedule a roadmap overview with your organization, please reach out to me directly via email kyle.gordon@amag.com and I will connect you with the appropriate team members to complete this task. This is a foundational effort to enhance the new way we will be conducting business.

AMAG Technology Announces Company Badge in Google Wallet

AMAG Technology announces it will offer company badges in Google Wallet™. Google Wallet is a secure and private digital wallet on Android devices that gives users quick access to their company badge.

Users can simply present their Android device to AMAG Technology’s Symmetry™ Blue reader to unlock a door. Storing a company badge in Google Wallet allows users to keep everything protected in one place, eliminating the need to remember and carry plastic cards.

AMAG Technology announces they are offering employee badge in Apple Wallet, which enables an organization’s employees to seamlessly and securely gain access to office spaces and amenities with a simple tap of an iPhone or Apple Watch.

AMAG Technology is proud to announce Symmetry^™ Control Room, a command and control software that allows administrators to manage the alarms and events of multiple security systems in real-time from a single monitor. Symmetry Control Room simplifies security management and improves situational awareness by eliminating the need for security administrators to move from one system to another to manage alarms.

AMAG Technology™ Announces New Partner Portal

AMAG Technology is excited to announce the launch of a brand-new Partner Portal. The new platform provides one place for all customers to access important resources such as registering for Symmetry software, accessing the Learning Management System, datasheets, price lists and technical documentation. Partners can view the Portal on their mobile devices so it is easy to access while at a customer site.

AMAG Technology customers can request a login at https://portal.amag.com/. Access to the site will be granted within 24-48 hours. The link is also available on www.amag.com.

AMAG Technology Exhibits at ISC West 2024, Expo Seguridad and Celebrates US Eagle Award Winners

AMAG Technology debuted a brand new booth at ISC West on April 10 – 12, 2024, and unveiled our new strategic direction. In addition, the company launched company badge in Google Wallet, employee badge in Apple Wallet and Symmetry Control Room.

Microsoft® Security Updates & Symmetry Systems Requirements

The Microsoft® Security Update statements are available on the Partner website. Go to Technical Bulletins/Microsoft Security Updates and look for the April 2024 versions. Microsoft Security Updates are available for:

• v8.x
• v9.x
• Hosted Systems

These updates document the Microsoft patches that have been evaluated against supported Windows and Server platforms for Symmetry versions v8.x, v9.x and hosted systems. We are no longer updating the V7.0.1 patch testing due to Microsoft withdrawing free OS support.
