ISC West is just around the corner. At AMAG, we are deep in our preparations to make the show a great event, and we are looking forward to seeing you all there in person. We are excited to introduce our brand new booth that will reflect our technology-focused approach and great product portfolio. We will debut our new approach to the market, focusing on how our solutions work together to help organizations. We will also launch some new services. We expect it to generate new enthusiasm in AMAG! While we will be introducing many new things, perhaps the most exciting will be our Wallet products.
We will not be the only company debuting our Wallet digital credentials, but our approach will be unique and easier to use than others. Unlike our industry colleagues, AMAG Technology’s digital credential will come directly from our cloud to the Wallet on your phone. There will be no middleman, ensuring a secure transfer, but there is more! We will transfer the credential straight into your Wallet without the need for an application on your phone. Instead of requiring the user to initiate the credential through some clumsy mobile application, we will send the credential directly into the user’s Wallet, allowing them to use the credential without added steps. Through this simple process, the user will easily be able to use their new credential immediately, and this functionality opens up the additional opportunity to create visitor badges in our visitor management software, Symmetry GUEST. Without the ability to drop the credential directly into the wallet, the use of these digital credentials would be cumbersome and difficult. Instead we are able to uniquely offer the most secure visitor credential in our history. The Symmetry Wallet Platform will certainly open up many possibilities.
As many of you know, we have recently updated our website, and with this upgrade, we are about to release our new Partner Portal. This easy-to-navigate portal will not only provide you with all the products and services you have grown familiar with, but it will also become the tool in which we will begin to offer new services to make it easier to do business with AMAG. One is our new AMAG Financial Services, where we will provide our channel partners with a financing alternative for the end users. It is a simple program which we will speak more about in the coming weeks, and most certainly at ISC West.
We expect to have more services to talk about at the show and look forward to seeing you at our booth where we will introduce you to the newly transformed AMAG Technology.

AMAG Technology is excited to announce its brand new website designed with new tools and improved functionality to help customers and users easily navigate the site.
Enhanced Customer Support in the Utility Bar
Recognizing the importance of responsive customer support, the website introduces an upgraded utility bar, prominently featuring the Support section for a smoother customer experience. Customers can easily access support resources, including contact information, technical support, training, customer service, RMA information and the Partner Portal.
Resource Library

AMAG Technology Releases Symmetry CONNECT Identity Management and Symmetry GUEST Visitor Management System V1.79.00
The newest Symmetry CONNECT Identity Management version enhances the GUEST self-registration kiosk, adds past check-out notifications, and brings CONNECT more in line with Symmetry ACS by adding support for credential expiry times.
Credential Expiry Time:
CONNECT has been updated with a new feature that enables card administrators and technicians to set the exact time when a credential will expire, in addition to the date. The credential expiry time will be set to midnight by default and will be synchronized with the Credential Inactive Time in Symmetry. This enhancement will allow for a credential to be deactivated at a specific time, which can be useful in various situations. For example, a credential can be deactivated at the end of a shift or immediately in the case of a termination. Read the full blog.
End User Form Required for all Purchase Orders
Effective immediately, all purchase orders must include an End User form. The form will allow AMAG Technology to provide better customer service. This includes all software, hardware, Professional Services and SSA purchases. You can download the form from the Partner Site. Contact your Sales Representative with questions or for more information.
Symmetry Support for Windows Server 2012 R2
Microsoft has now ended support for Windows Server 2012 R2. New versions of Symmetry 9.5.n Access Control software released after 30 June, 2024 will no longer support this operating system.
Please ensure that you are using 64-bit Windows Server 2016 Standard/Datacentre Edition or later, to receive the latest security updates and continued support for future Symmetry releases.
Older Symmetry v8.1.n software versions will continue to be supported using Server 2012 R2, but it is highly recommended that the latest version of Symmetry Access Control software be used wherever possible.

Microsoft® Security Updates & Symmetry Systems Requirements
The Microsoft® Security Update statements are available on the Partner website. Go to Technical Bulletins/Microsoft Security Updates and look for the February 2024 versions. Microsoft Security Updates are available for:

- v9.x
- Hosted Systems
These updates document the Microsoft patches that have been evaluated against supported Windows and Server platforms for Symmetry versions v8.x, v9.x and hosted systems. We are no longer updating the V7.0.1 patch testing due to Microsoft withdrawing free OS support.
