Symmetry Wallet is Ready for You
AMAG Technology is announcing the availability of the Symmetry Wallet platform, which provides an entire solution for issuing mobile credentials for Apple and Google Wallet. AMAG Technology provides a complete Wallet issuance solution, including the Symmetry Wallet Platform, Identity Management with Symmetry CONNECT and Access Control with Symmetry Access Control, panel hardware and Symmetry Blue readers ensuring a secure solution.
Users are emailed a link to authenticate the badge via Symmetry Wallet. AMAG Technology provides a seamless user experience by leveraging unique web provisioning technology to add badges to Wallet. Symmetry Access Control and Symmetry Blue readers will continue supporting Wallet and physical credentials so organizations can transition from physical to mobile credentials anytime. AMAG Technology Releases Symmetry Access Control V9.8 with Symmetry Wallet Credential Support
Supporting the release of the Symmetry Wallet platform, Symmetry Access V9.8 introduces a new Reader format called “Series 900 Wallet-57, AMAG 62/63 SmartMAX” that encompasses the use of Apple and Google Wallet, SmartMAX and mobile credentials. Also included in the release is a “WALLET-57” reader format that can be used with Wallet credentials and a new “Wallet-57” credential format. These feature enhancements ensure a seamless integrated solution for issuing mobile credentials for Apple and Google Wallet.
Symmetry Access Control V9.6 was recently released. It provides an enhanced user interface and user-friendly options and meets accessibility requirements. Read more.
AMAG Technology Releases Symmetry CONNECT and Symmetry GUEST V1.82.50
The newest Symmetry GUEST Visitor Management version adds additional text messaging capabilities for visitors.
In addition to emails, Symmetry GUEST can notify visitors of scheduled visits by text message. With this enhancement, the administrator can now configure the ability to text the visitor when a new visit is registered, updated, or canceled. This enhancement improves the options that users must communicate with their visitors. Read more.
Internal Systems Update Meets GDPR Guidelines
AMAG Technology has successfully moved to Microsoft Office 365, as well as completed the move of our internal business systems to a new infrastructure, which is hosted in the United States. All customer data that we hold as part of the internal systems has been securely transferred and protected per GDPR guidelines. The move to Microsoft and our business systems to the US was a key milestone in our digital transformation journey, which will create the foundation that will allow us to improve our services to our customers.
New Partner Portal Delivers Information, News and More
AMAG Technology is excited to announce the launch of a brand-new Partner Portal. The new platform provides one place for all customers to access important resources such as registering for Symmetry software, accessing the Learning Management System, datasheets, price lists and technical documentation. Partners can view the Portal on their mobile devices so it is easy to access while at a customer site.
AMAG Technology customers can request a login at https://portal.amag.com/. Access to the site will be granted within 24-48 hours. The link is also available on www.amag.com.

AMAG Technology Announces Symmetry GUEST Visitor Management Tutorial Library
AMAG Technology is excited to announce that it has developed a library of Symmetry GUEST video tutorials for integrators and end users. The short videos teach everything from the initial setup of Symmetry GUEST to adding a new system user, running reports, and configuring the Visitor Welcome. The Microsoft® Security Update statements are available on the Partner website. Go to Technical Bulletins/Microsoft Security Updates and look for the June 2024 versions. Microsoft Security Updates are available for:

These updates document the Microsoft patches that have been evaluated against supported Windows and Server platforms for Symmetry versions v8.x, v9.x and hosted systems. We are no longer updating the V7.0.1 patch testing due to Microsoft withdrawing free OS support.
