As we continue to transform AMAG, bring forward the Symmetry product portfolio, and digitize the business to make it easier to do business with us, we are also working to streamline our internal communications. Being dynamic, businesses morph and change, sometimes in a good way, and sometimes not. In our case, we needed an overhaul of how we communicate internally. Unfortunately, our communication breakdowns were negatively impacting you, the customer, whereby some critical support for issues remained open for longer than we prefer. Disappointingly, we found that some of our team members accepted that an issue remained unsolved for longer than it should, and with almost any issue we found that it boiled down to communications breaking down across departments. To solve this problem, we quickly brought the teams together to review all open customer issues. Working in parallel with the current customer issues, we started with our oldest open tickets, finding in some cases that our delayed response was sometimes due to the tickets residing in separate systems. With each step in our journey to bring these issues to a close, we are collectively working to improve our processes. If you have been following my newsletter columns, you have likely picked up on the fact that we are driving to make AMAG the easiest company to work with, empowering our employees to develop ways in which we can help you, our customer. As a result, we have improved internal communications, creating a better environment for our employees to work together, which always ends up creating a better experience for our customers.
We are not complete in our transformation and are continuing to find ways to improve our service levels. My hope is that you are seeing a better company and are having a better experience when you interface with us. We want to become better, and if you have ideas on how we can further improve, we ask that you share them with us. We are open to listening and want your input.
We are on the cusp of releasing some exciting new products, many of which you have already been asking about. It never happens fast enough for me, but good technology takes time. New panels, new software, and better service are all coming together to bring you the best experience in our industry. We are excited to be your partner of choice and look forward to making your business more efficient and effective.
As I write this, I am blown away at how fast this year has gone. Like us, I am sure that you are in the phases of planning your 2025, and that you too are surprised that summer is behind us and winter is just around the corner. Before you know it, the holidays will be behind us, and we will be nearly halfway through the decade! Just like time, AMAG is working hard to bring you new products and services more quickly. We are looking forward to the coming months and are committed to bringing you more options to choose from. We intend to be the best in the business and are well on our way! AMAG Technology Hosts Inaugural Security Engineering Symposium Europe
Symposium focuses on company vision, product roadmap and emerging trends
AMAG Technology hosted the SES Europe conference October 17 – 18, 2024 in Tewkesbury, UK. Over 70 end users, integrators and consultants from EMEA attended the event held at the Tewkesbury Park Hotel. While this event has been held in the US many times, it is the first time it has been held in the United Kingdom.
AMAG Technology President, David Sullivan and Director of Sales-EMEA & APAC, James Clark opened the symposium by welcoming attendees and sharing the new vision for the company. Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Customer Excellence, Kyle Gordon presented, Our Customer First Journey. Keynote speaker and influencer from the Access Control Executive Brief, Lee Odess presented on Emerging Access Control Trends.

Symmetry Mobile v1.30.37 Improves how Emails are Managed in the Mobile Admin Platform

Symmetry Mobile v1.30.37 introduces three key updates to enhance administrators’ ability to manage emails generated by the application. These updates include the addition of a new emails tab, enabling the viewing of all produced emails and their status. Additionally, administrators can now define the frequency and subject of the emails, providing complete control over the content and delivery of the emails. READ MORE.
Last Call! New Partner Portal Delivers Information, News and More
AMAG Technology launched a brand-new Partner Portal. The new platform provides one place for all customers to access important resources such as registering for Symmetry software, accessing the Learning Management System, datasheets, price lists and technical documentation. Partners can view the Portal on their mobile devices so it is easy to access while at a customer site.
AMAG Technology customers can request a login at https://portal.amag.com/. Access to the site will be granted within 24-48 hours. The link is also available on www.amag.com. The old Partner Site will be removed on November 4.
Microsoft® Security Updates & Symmetry Systems Requirements
The Microsoft® Security Update statements are available on the Partner website. Go to Technical Bulletins/Microsoft Security Updates and look for the October 2024 versions. Microsoft Security Updates are available for:
- v8.x
- v9.x
- Hosted Systems
These updates document the Microsoft patches that have been evaluated against supported Windows and Server platforms for Symmetry versions v8.x, v9.x and hosted systems. We are no longer updating the V7.0.1 patch testing due to Microsoft withdrawing free OS support.
