Dear Partners:
It is hard for me to believe that I have been in my role as the President of AMAG Technology for a little over one year. It has certainly flown by quickly. In my career, it has always seemed that my business goals are more ambitious than what I can reasonably accomplish! Everything always seems to take longer than you expect. 2023 has been a year of change, where we have seen a significant change in our executive leadership team, with Kyle Gordon joining as our new EVP of Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Excellence; Roland Fournier joining as our new VP of Product Management; Ewan Abbott joining as our new Director of Global Operations; and Pascal de Zitter as our new VP of Security & Information Management Solutions. They all join Mike Kobaly, our EVP of Engineering; Ryan Howarth, our VP of Technical Services; Paul Edwards, our EVP of Business Technology; and Grant Walker, our Director of Finance. This leadership team establishes a strong foundation from which we will advance AMAG forward into its next chapter. We have defined a clear path, and have a great deal on our plate. I thought that I would provide you with a bit of insight on a few of the initiatives that we have already begun to work on.
One of the first areas of focus centers on our digital transformation objective. While multitiered in the tasks to complete, all intend to make it easier for you to do business with AMAG through improved tools and services that we make available to you, our channel partner. Amongst our many upgrades is a set of partner tools that will help you to generate AMAG quotes to your customer, not only will it configure our systems for quote, but also includes the additional elements needed for an installation such as cable, door contacts and the like. Our goal is to provide you a robust and powerful quoting tool that once your end customer accepts, it creates an order to AMAG through a push of a button. We are working on the details behind this tool and expect to announce its release in 2024. Also a part of our digital transformation is the release of our new website, that may even be up and running as you read this newsletter. This long overdue upgrade will modernize our website, making it easy to navigate and generate more end user interest. Each of these digital improvements are important, however improved operational performance brings even greater value.
We have a number of operational improvements in the works, but the most exciting project is in our planned factory investments and enhancements. Our plan to upgrade our manufacturing equipment will both make our factory more efficient, and expand our ability to incorporate state of the art designs to bring you leading edge technologies. We are enthusiastic about what this means to AMAG. We have a number of exciting innovative designs in the works that will advance our existing portfolio and introduce new products to our already strong product offering.
All of the above expands and advances our business services and products, but cannot be of value to the end user without you. One of the primary initiatives for 2024 is to aggressively get back out to see each of you, to build upon our already strong partnership. In this effort we will bring you up to speed on all that we are doing in the business, providing you our vision, our product road map, and our game plan. We are driving our business in a new direction, and want to ensure that you know where we are going. Everything we are doing aims to increase the value that we bring to both you and your customers. Our business plan over the next three years is clear and with each milestone we believe we will become increasingly beneficial to your business. AMAG is on a path to being the number one technology provider in the Identity and Access marketplace, and we look forward to partnering in this journey with you. As 2024 unfolds, we will continue to share more and more of our vision and plan as it comes together.

End User Form Required for all Purchase Orders
Effective immediately, all purchase orders must include an End User form. The form will allow AMAG Technology to provide better customer service. This includes all software, hardware, Professional Services and SSA purchases. You can download the form from the Partner Site. Symmetry Support for Windows Server 2012 R2
Microsoft has now ended support for Windows Server 2012 R2. New versions of Symmetry 9.5.n Access Control software released after 30 June, 2024 will no longer support this operating system.
Please ensure that you are using 64-bit Windows Server 2016 Standard/Datacentre Edition or later, to receive the latest security updates and continued support for future Symmetry releases.
Older Symmetry v8.1.n software versions will continue to be supported using Server 2012 R2, but it is highly recommended that the latest version of Symmetry Access Control software be used wherever possible.

The Microsoft® Security Update statements are available on the Partner website. Go to Technical Bulletins/Microsoft Security Updates and look for the January 2024 versions. Microsoft Security Updates are available for:

- v9.x
- Hosted Systems
These updates document the Microsoft patches that have been evaluated against supported Windows and Server platforms for Symmetry versions v8.x, v9.x and hosted systems. We are no longer updating the V7.0.1 patch testing due to Microsoft withdrawing free OS support.
