ISC West is just around the corner in less than two weeks. I cannot believe how fast this year has gone, and that we are all on our annual pilgrimage to Las Vegas.
I could not be more excited this year because we are presenting ourselves very differently than before. I think that many in our industry think of us as that “old access control company,” and they would be correct in our age, but not in our technology. Being around since 1971 has meant that we are one of the first companies that provided early access control solutions. Our age translates to a company that knows access control very well, and as a result, provides reliable systems that can address every access control need. Our credential will not go through a third party, and will not require you to load an app onto your phone, but rather will come straight to your phone via email, and in that email will be a link that the user will click which will place the credential directly into the wallet. Only AMAG Technology can provide this end-to-end security, and when coupled with the ease of putting the credential straight into the phone’s wallet, the process will be quick and easy. We will also show how we can provide the user with a temporary digital visitor credential too. We believe that we are the only company that can show the ease of digital visitor credential issuance.

AMAG Technology Releases Symmetry CONNECT and Symmetry GUEST V1.81.00
The newest Symmetry CONNECT Identity Management version improves the transparency of access requests done on behalf of other identities.
Access Request Enhancements
The process of requesting access on behalf of another identity has been made more transparent for all parties involved. Access control representatives can now view and filter the requests by the requester and requestee, ensuring better management of the requests. Additionally, both the requester and the requestee will receive notifications related to the request, allowing for clear communication and keeping everyone informed.
Termination with Lock
A new option has been introduced to allow a lock to be placed on identities terminated status. This option helps address scenarios where an identity needs to be immediately terminated from the access control system, but those changes will not be updated in the HR feed for a period of time. Enabling the lock option will prevent the HR Feed integration from reactivating the identity if its status has not been updated, by first requiring the identity to be set to terminate before it can be set to active. Effective immediately, all purchase orders must include an End User form. The form will allow AMAG Technology to provide better customer service. This includes all software, hardware, Professional Services and SSA purchases. You can download the form from the Partner Site. The Microsoft® Security Update statements are available on the Partner website. Go to Technical Bulletins/Microsoft Security Updates and look for the March 2024 versions. Microsoft Security Updates are available for:

- Hosted Systems
These updates document the Microsoft patches that have been evaluated against supported Windows and Server platforms for Symmetry versions v8.x, v9.x and hosted systems. We are no longer updating the V7.0.1 patch testing due to Microsoft withdrawing free OS support.
